Replacing mesh may be enough when a frame is sound. A bent frame or a door with worn hardware may need additional work. Identify which screens open, which are fixed, and whether access requires a ladder before scheduling.

Common questions
Does a torn screen need a whole new frame?
Not always. If the frame is in good condition, replacing the mesh may be appropriate. A damaged frame needs to be assessed separately.
Can I request pet-resistant mesh?
Include that preference in your email. The suitable mesh depends on the screen frame and intended use. A window screen is not a safety barrier for children or pets.
